Hi, I’m Shari Heyborne
I’m the mother of one incredible daughter, whom is my partner in this venture. I was raised on a farm in Colorado, so animals and breeding has always been a way of life. I moved to Las Vegas with my family when I was younger and I just fell in love with the town. My daughter Kimberly was born and raised here in Nevada but has a lot of the country girl, down to earth qualities. She and her husband have one baby girl named Elizabeth and also live here in Vegas so between both of us this dream of breeding these wonderful tiny babies was born. She is a stay at home mom and I work at the Las Vegas Valley Water Treatment Plant as a water treatment operator. Which basically means I’m one of the people that make sure the water in Southern Nevada is clean, safe and exceeds EPA standards. Our plant is located right on Lake Mean. The treatment plant that I work for treats and delivers up to 600,000,000 gallons a day so needless to say I stay rather busy.
So our venture began several years ago when we bought one shih tzu, a sweet little girl. She needed a playmate and one soon became two. We soon after found the Chinese Imperial and just fell in love with them, we just love the tiny ones! It didn’t take long via the Internet to start locating some of these tiny little dolls. Soon fascination for tiny imperials transformed into obsession. Now we have several. Both of our houses are now full of loving little fluffy children. They don’t know their dogs, & don’t tell them any different. They would never believe you anyway. We want to stay a small breeder family, so the personal touch doesn’t get lost. Our first concern is health, we want our babies to live a long, full life. We are dedicated to making sure that we breed top quality, wonderful imperials that anyone would be happy to bring into their family. The tiny size is a bonus we are able to achieve by breeding only the best of the best. I’ve met some great breeders and have learned so much from them. We are a kind of melting pot that has blended together from the experiences of many, including ourselves. It is a pleasure being a part of the CIDCA and having all the wonderful people who love these little ones as much as we do!! We hope that you fall in love with them as much as we have!
